Saturday

An outfit that she received from some friends while we were in Arkansas this summer.

Now I look forward to Saturdays, more than ever, because it is the only day that I can sleep late. However, yesterday I woke up at 6:45am, but I laid there and dozed off till about 8:30. It was nice not to have to rush around and get ready. Brooklyn likes Saturdays because she gets to pick out her dress for church. I know that I've mentioned in my blog before of how she loves wearing dresses. We always pick it out the night before and hang it on her closet door. Last night after her bath, she told me, "I put it up there." I looked over there, and she had hung her purse and Bible on top of the hanger. I guess she wanted to make sure that we didn't forget it. :) I told Jeremy to come look, and he said you need to take a picture of that. So here it is....

Thought that was really sweet. She talked about God a lot yesterday. She asked me where he lived and "what does sin do?" I think she asked me that because I always tell her, "Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Sin is the bad things that we do." I'm thankful that she wants to talk about Jesus. Yesterday it brought tears to my eyes. The day that she asks Jesus into her heart will have to be one of the best days of my life and of course Brooklyn's. I pray every day that God will help her to come to know Him at an early age, and that she will have a heart that brings glory to Him. I still believe it will be awhile before she really understands, but He is already working in her little heart! And it thrills my soul!
